Accommodation

We have three official ACM'2014 accommodation partners, and we list also some other recommended hotels and hostels here. The ACM'2014 map shows the locations of the recommended hotels. We have made quota reservations to our official partner hotels, but you will need to book the hotel yourself, with the exception of the University Guest House which is booked through us. Bookings can be made on hotel website or by phone.

Scandic Grand Marina

The Scandic Grand Marina hotel is located in the Katajanokka district, right next to the Marina Congress Center conference venue. The hotel is a high-end conference hotel with all the expected facilities, such as gym, restaurant, parking and Wi-Fi. The hotel offers an early booking price of 94 euros/night for a single room and 104 euros/night for a double room. Please use the booking code BHEL290614. The offer is valid until April 30^th, 2014. After that date the price is 104 euros/night for a single and 114 euros/night for a double room. The booking code after April 30^th is BACM290614, and it is valid until June 15^th, 2014. Sokos Hotel Helsinki

The Sokos Hotel Helsinki is located in downtown Helsinki. The ACM conference venue can be reached from the hotel on foot (approx. 20 min, 1.3 km), or by taking the tram number 4/4T with stop in front of the hotel (approx. 10 min). The hotel offers a price of 100 euros/night for a single and 120 euros/night for a double room. Please use the code BACM140629_001 when booking. A buffet breakfast and free use of the sauna is included in the price. Contact the hotel directly for larger rooms.

Unihome, University Guest House

We have a reservation for 40 one-room, single bed and 20 two-room, double bed furnished apartments at the Unihome Töölö Towers, a University Guest House. The Töölö Towers are located a little further from the conference site (see the map) in the quiet Töölö district, but the conference venue can be reached easily by tram line 4/4T (aprox. 25 min). The rooms are modern, furnished and spacious, including Wi-Fi, cleaning and breakfast. The room prices are 312.20 euros/week for one-room and 455 euros/week (+ 9 euros/night for extra person) for two-room apartment. These apartments are intended for invited speakers and guests with family (two-room apartments). Please contact us if you are interested (acm-2014@helsinki.fi).
