Registration to the ACM conference

Conference fees
Regular participants
400/500 €
This category includes invited speakers, contributing speakers and poster presenters, and all other scientific guests of the conference. The conference fee is 400 euros, and it includes the conference material, coffees and lunches during the conference, excursion and the banquet dinner, and a ticket to Helsinki area public transport during the conference. The late-fee for registrations after March 31st is 500 euros.
If you are only participating to the conference on certain days, your conference fee will be reduced by 30 euros per every day you need to pass. If you cannot participate to the banquet dinner on Wednesday, your fee is reduced by 70 euros.
Students
300/400 €
The student category includes all active students who have not earned their doctoral degree. Verification of student status may be asked. The student fee is 300 euros, and it includes the conference material, coffees and lunches during the conference, excursion and the banquet dinner, and a ticket to Helsinki area public transport during the conference. The late-fee for student registrations after March 31st is 400 euros.

Amateur astronomers
100 €
The amateur astronomer category is meant for persons who are not full-time students or researchers in the scope of the conference. A name of referee or membership in amateur astronomy association is required. The amateur fee is 100 euros, and it will only include the conference material and attendance to the conference.
Amateur astronomers can participate on the excursion (30 €) or on the banquet dinner (70 €), please mention this when registering.
Accompanying persons
If accompanying persons would like to participate on excursions or the banquet dinner, or get the ticket for public transport through us, they should register. Adult accompanying fee for excursion is 30 euros and for banquet dinner 70 euros. Ticket for public transport in the Helsinki area for the time of the conference is 25 euros. Children's fees will be lower, please ask for details.
Registration procedure
Registration for the conference is closed. Only on-site registration is possible.
Payment procedure
You should not use bank transfers anymore, since we cannot verify if the payment has arrived before the conference starts. On-site payments with cash are possible, or credit card payments using the Holvi online store which accepts VISA or Mastercard.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel your participation, you should inform us at acm-2014@helsinki.fi as soon as possible. If you have an accepted oral or poster contribution, you should also indicate if there will be another person giving the presentation, or if it will be canceled. Regarding the possible payments made, we will return
- 80% of the payments when cancelled before May 1st,
- 50% of the payments when cancelled before June 1st, and
- 25% of the payments when cancelled before June 20th.
Cancellations after June 20th will be handled on case-by-case basis, and the possible refund amount may vary.
